Click Guardian

These click fraud companies first came onto the scene a few years ago and now there are so many of them conning so many people that we had to look into them… So a line a JavaScript allows a private company to intercept an ad click from Google to your website and block it after their code confirms it’s not a potential customer? Utter nonsense

Anyone in the marketing, website development industry knows that these companies are a complete scam, if this could be done then Google, the enormous company with 1000’s of coders and billions of dollars would do it, plus if it was possible (it isn’t) how would their code know which clicks are genuine?

What Google does is detect multiple clicks from the same IP, blocks them and refunds you, they have always done this.. NO ONE can predict if a single click is a real customer or not how could they, If I search for a organic SEO companies  near me and click an ad how does this code know if I’m a customer of just a rival looking up the competition?

As a marketing company managing a few Adwords accounts we had clients constantly asking us if they needed to sign up with one of these companies, Click Guardian, Click Ease etc…. Of course we said no but what we did is signed up with Click Guardian ourselves, we set up a new adwords campaign, signed up, then paused the campaign the same day…

Here’s he proof, A month later we got a report from Click Guardian  claiming that they had blocked 247 fraudulent clicks on our ads now we where meant to cancel the services and report this to our clients but one of our marketing guys forgot and we paid 2 months, the second month was the same, 100’s of fraudulent clicks on our ads blocked…

We had Zero ads running….. I actually rang Click Guardian to ask how they had blocked clicks on ads when I had none running? they refused to comment instead refunding me all my money..

Verdict : Complete and Utter Scam, you are paying for absolutely nothing

This service is simply throwing money away… It does NOT stop click fraud and TBH when you take a minute to think about about it… how could it? AVOID, AVOID, AVOID

Undertook the free 14 day trial period to monitor our adwords account. We cancelled before the end of the trial as the service was useless – we could easily review our server logs periodically and find more issues than they could for free.

They still took funds for the next month from our account and refused to refund.

Focus is on making money with a pretty useless product and no consideration to customer need or satisfaction.

Tried them after spending too much on Google adwords… Didn’t say me a penny and i couldn’t cancel the payment, they just kept taking it…. Support staff are rude and know its a scam…

We really wanted to like this service, but it was pretty much a let down. It promised really great features, but in the end we actually received more click fraud while testing this software.

After using them for over half a year I noticed my advertising budgets were still going down! So not only was I paying for this extra service but it wasn’t able to protect my campaigns from fraudulent clicks. I feel like this business has taken my business a step backward.
